The Wedding Singer (1998) is a romantic comedy set in 1985, starring Adam Sandler as Robbie Hart, a nice guy wedding singer dumped at the altar. He falls for Julia (Drew Barrymore), a waitress engaged to a jerky, unfaithful fiancé. As they plan her wedding, they realize they are better suited for each other.
